Q: Can I pay online for my order?
A: No. At this time we are unable to process online payment, but we are currently working to set up this option. Online payment will be available to you in the near future.
Q: How much cake should I order?
A: One serving of cake is usually 1”x2”x4” or 2”x2”x2” depending on the type. We can help you determine the size of your cake based on the number of servings needed and the shape of the cake you want.

Q: How far in advance should I place my order?
A: As soon as you are certain of your event date. To ensure quality, cake bookings are limited and can fill up months in advance. For non-custom orders, usually 24 to 48 hours is enough notice. Some custom cakes require special decorations that have to be ordered and may require more notice. A minimum of 30 days notice is required for cake orders over $400. Please call or email to inquire about availability.

Q: What is fondant?
A: Fondant is sweet dough that can be rolled out and used to cover a buttercream-based cake. It gives the cake a beautiful, porcelain-like finish. Although the taste of buttercream icing is usually preferred over fondant, fondant can be much more versatile. It can be molded, painted, draped, and made to shimmer. It can also be used to sculpt various shapes or figurines.
Q: Can I get a sugar-free/fat-free/gluten-free cake?
A: At this time, we have not perfected sugar-free, fat-free or gluten-free recipes to our expectations. Therefore, they are not available.
Q: Do you use frozen cakes?
A: No. All cakes are baked fresh, in-house, never frozen.
Q: How long will my cake stay fresh?
A: Unless otherwise specified, your cake will remain fresh for up to 1 week. To keep the cake from drying out after it has been cut, cover the cake with a piece of plastic wrap.
Q: Can you match my colors/dress/invitations/napkins/etc?
A: Yes. You will need to provide color samples for us to get an accurate representation. We are confident that we can turn out a product that you will be delighted with, but please bear in mind that printer inks and couture fashion do not always translate exactly into sugar form. Precise matches are sometimes impossible. Color-matching may incur a fee and is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Q: Will you serve my cake?
A: No. We do not provide this service.
Q: Will you make an adult themed cake?
A: No. We choose not to make any cake that we feel is sexually explicit or that may be offensive to some customers.
